Rotary Pilot
Jeff Stebnicki is a Rotary Pilot at Blackcomb’s Whistler base. He has 3200 flight hours with 2900+ hours as pilot in command. Endorsed on six different helicopter types, Jeff is instrument / night rated, and is also a Class 3 Flight Instructor. His flying experience extends to mountain, arctic, tropical and rain forest terrains, and includes international charters, SAR, precision long lining, production long lining, mountain operations, bird towing, firefighting, filming and off shore support for oil & gas operations.
Scott Taylor
Lillooet Base Manager and Rotary Pilot
Scott Taylor has been a commercial helicopter pilot since 1998 and has worked extensively throughout Western Canada. Scott currently has 4000 hrs pilot in command which includes 2000 hrs on the Bell 206 series and 250 hrs of night flying. He is endorsed on the R22, R44, BH47, BH206 Jet Ranger, BH206 Long Ranger, and the Bell 407. Scott is a Class D certified pilot and has attended Robert Feerst’s “Flying in the Wire Environment” course. More recently, he completed Bell Helicopter’s 206B Pilot Ground and Flight Procedures course at the Bell Helicopter Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas. Scott Taylor is a resident of the Lillooet community and oversees Blackcomb Aviation’s operations and services in the Lillooet and surrounding areas.
Paul Winiecki
Rotary Pilot and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Paul Winiecki is a Rotary Pilot and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Category M1) at Blackcomb’s Whistler Base. Paul has 25 years experience with 7900+ flight hours and is endorsed on AS350, AS355, R22, Bell 47, Bell 205, Bell 206 and Bell 212 aircraft. His pilot hours have been earned in firefighting, multiple seasons of heli skiing, film work, seismic, longline and geophysical survey bird towing and general charters. Paul has worked throughout Canada including three seasons in the high Arctic islands. His international flying experience includes flight operations in Panama, the West Indies and the United States.
